Who We Are
Porter Logistics started in 2017 with two founders, one 3,000-square-foot warehouse and no customers. We won our first accounts one at a time by taking on the work other warehouses turned down and doing the work better than our clients expected.
Today Porter runs four facilities across Atlanta and the Savannah port area. We handle the hard stuff: hazardous and specialty chemicals, food-grade and temperature-controlled freight from ambient to frozen, bonded imports and bulk chemical repackaging. Our customers include Fortune 500 manufacturers and global distributors in chemicals, food and beverage, consumer goods and building materials. They have their pick of 3PLs. They choose us.
We’ve grown every year since we opened, and 2026 is on pace for 40% growth. Growth means new sites, new roles and room to move up. Many of our leaders started in entry-level roles here.
The Role:
Inventory is the backbone of everything we do for our clients. As an Inventory Control Lead, you own the accuracy and organization of our warehouse inventory from cycle counts to discrepancy resolution to WMS recordkeeping.
This isn't a passive data-entry role. You'll be the person our operations team, customer success team and clients rely on when something doesn't add up. You take precision seriously, you communicate clearly and you don't let a discrepancy sit unresolved. If that sounds like you, we want to talk.
This is a full-time hourly position based on-site at our warehouse facility. Standard hours are 7am to 5pm.

The Hiring Process:
We value your time and are committed to a streamlined, respectful hiring experience. Candidates selected for further consideration will begin with a brief phone screen with a member of our HR team. If mutual interest is confirmed, you'll be invited for an in-person interview at our warehouse to meet the team and tour the facility.
